Stickers Everywhere

Jena came home from Joy School today with a little bag full of stickers.  She was so excited and decided that the best thing to decorate was herself.

So is she thinking... What else could I cover with stickers or Oh behave...

Surprise!

We took a weekend to Las Vegas to surprise Grandma for her birthday.  It's always great in a large family when you actually get away with a surprise.  The weekend was full of games - an old school card one, Cafe Rio - twice, baseball - James made a run, and lots of cake - carrot and cheesecake.  Hope you had a great birthday Mom.  We love you!

I wasn't really good about taking pictures during the weekend, but Taylor did have a surprise of her own...

Priceless!

Joy School at Our House

We have a great group of kids in our Joy School Group.  I figured I would share at least one picture from the week.  We took a little field trip to our local Albertson's for a tour of the bakery.  We learned how they follow "rules" to make everything go smoothly.  Plus the kids loved that they got a cookie and they even sent us home with a cake.  The kids loved it and the adults were so grateful for the wonderful staff!

Having 5 three year olds keeps you on your toes and at least I should be more prepared with backup plans for the next week at our house :)

4th Day of Joy School

My eye is now feeling much better and today we finally got a picture of Jena heading off to Joy School.  She has so much fun and has a hard time leaving at the end.  Next week school is at our house and at least going home will be the easy part.  She is growing up very fast and loves to talk about her friends and family.  I figured I would add in one picture of the sweet Jena and one picture of the wild Jena on the four wheeler (no, they really didn't go four wheeling, she just wanted to pose on it).

With sword in hand...

Cousins and Football

We headed to Valencia to play with the cousins and watch the BYU game. Jena and Carson ran around in constant motion destroying monsters and playing with every toy within reach. Kellie was the greatest helper with Taylor. They played with toys and went down the slide. Taylor even liked to climb in a little truck and Kellie would make sure the truck was steady and Taylor wouldn't fall. Thank you Kellie! Ryan, Shawn and Jake cheered the Cougars on until they were victorious. Then we headed to dinner at the Soup Plantation and ended the night at the park. Thanks Rochelle and Shawn for a fun night.

Lovin' Play Dough!

Ever since Joy School started on Monday (Yes, I didn't get a picture of her first day), Jena has been obsessed about play dough.  She wants to play all the time.  Even after she's left the table and all the clean up is done, she acts shocked that I would even think about putting it away.  This cute little kit that we bought has a three dimensional goat.  She loves to make a bunch of them and then squash them.

Taylor hates being buckled in her seat and wonders when I'm going to stop taking pictures.

My New Best Friend! Ugh!

So, for anyone that didn't hear... This morning I was laying down on the couch and Taylor was jumping all over the place.  All of a sudden Taylor kicks me in the eye and I am paralyzed.  Not exactly, but for at least a half an hour I couldn't open my eye.  Then when I did it was so blurry and my eye wouldn't stop watering.  Five hours and a few exams later, I found out I have a scratched cornea.  It never helps when the doctor says, "You must have a high pain tolerance."  So for the next week, I have three different types of eye drops/creams that need to be applied all day.  The doctor did also say that maybe Taylor will be a soccer player because it was right in the center, a perfect shot.  GOAL!

BBQ & POOL Party!

During the day Ryan and I both went to different grocery stores.  He picked up cereal and mini rolls, I picked up milk and ground beef, and luckily we didn't settle for cereal for dinner.  We decided to fill the pool up and let the girls play as we cooked 8 mini cheeseburgers.  Taylor only paid attention to the pool and Jena liked to eat the cheese off the burger.  We had a great time and we were happy our team work paid off tonight.

What a cute little thing!

Little Percher

Taylor thought she was quite clever to find something that she could climb on that was just the perfect size for her two little feet.  Check out the satisfied look on her face.
